Training courts listed below will be available for the participating teams in accordance with the fixed time and place designated the Organizing Committee. The courts will be provided in accordance with the specifications prescribed in the Regulations for World Competitions. Lockers room, showers, first aid service will be available at the training sites for the convenience of the participating teams.

The teams will go separately by bus to the training sites and competition hall and back to the hotel according to a timetable. The organizer will provide for an adequate number of busses according to the transport schedule. There will be a shuttle - service of minibus's for the referees between hotel and competition halls. Organizing Committee's Medical Department is responsible for all medical services at the championship. The main task of the department is to provide any medical attention required. The Medical Department will also ensure proper hygiene at competition halls, and provide any medical assistance required during the games.
The analysis of all samples will be executed at one of the nearest laborites of Bahrain. There will Doping Control rooms in the competition halls with toilet and shower, well furnished with tables armchairs, beds and two refrigerators in each room. The first room will be used ad waiting room, the second one for the submission of the specimens. One of the refrigerators in the second room with a lock will be used for the storage of the sample at the suitable temperature before sending them to the laboratories.
Full security measures will be provided before, during and after the championship. The Organizing Committee and pertinent government authorities will jointly form the Security Department.
The Organizing Committee and pertinent government authorities will guarantee visa at the airport upon arrival for all participants to this championship provided that they send their personal data one month before the start of the competition.
DRAWING OF LOTS CEREMONY:
The drawing of lots for the preliminary rounds will take place on the 20th (Sunday) April 1997 at 14:00 GMT at Bahrain International Exhibition Center.
Entertainment program's will be organized i.e. dinners, cocktail parties, visit to archaeological sites, museums and cruises to the islands, etc.
The first inspection visit will be conducted by Mr.Hyung-bin Yim Member
of the FIVB Sport Organizing Commission on October 22-25,1996.
